overdue update

Yes, I know I've been a slacker lately. I was kind of just being lazy, and kind of didn't want to update until I had gone private. But I'm back now!

Not much has been going on at our house lately. Here's just a quick overview.

*Dan's family moved back to Utah County after living in Salt Lake county for 5 years. We are so excited to have them live closer.
*Dan's 16-year-old sister, Bonnie, moved in with us for the summer and then her mom and we decided to make it permanent, at least for for the school year. It's been fun having her around. Lincoln absolutely loves her! It was quite the transition for him when school started and she wasn't here all day. All day I would hear, "Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie." He's gotten better, though. Having a teenager in the house really livens things up around here! Makes me remember when I was that age, the good and the bad!
*I finally retook my medical transcription test. I meant to do it like a month ago, but things got super crazy for a while. I have to wait 2 weeks to find out if I passed or not. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
*Lincoln is growing up like crazy! He is now 17 months old. I'm so excited for him to go to nursery in a couple weeks. I'm a little nervous about him being the nursery bully--any of you have one of those on your hands? :) I swear he learns a couple new words a day. He is getting to where he recognizes animals in his books and can point to them if asked and some of them he can name, even uncommon ones like penguin and owl. He is a little parrot and mimics a lot of what we say, which means we have to be careful!
*I've read a few good books lately. For any of you who read Dean Hughes Children of the Promise and Hearts of the Children series, his followup book Promises to Keep is very good! Also, Sandra Gray's Traitor is great! I'm reading the sequel, Tribunal, right now. I'm also very excited for the next Robert Langdon adventure (Angels & Demons, Da Vinci Code) by Dan Brown.

Well, that's about it. I was going to post pictures but the internet is being way too slow. I'll try again tomorrow!
