Last Saturday, Dan was invited to hike Mt. Timp with a few people from his work. So, off he went at 1:30 a.m. (yes, I said A.M.!) to make the 18 mile round-trip hike. They started at about 3 and got to the top around 10 (I think). He said it was beautiful and well worth it. He just about fell off a 30-foot cliff on the way back down, but other than a few scrapes and bruises, he made it to the bottom safely.
