I have to admit, I have been looking forward to this day for months. Wrestling a toddler for 3 hours every week at church has not been fun. Lincoln shouldn't officially be in nursery for two more weeks, but we had Ward Conference today and I wanted to be able to pay attention. So, we took him to nursery. I took him in and showed him his cousin playing with toys and he went right over. He didn't even see us leave, nor did he care. Dan went and checked on him after the first hour and the nursery leaders said he was doing great and that he had an appetite! When we went to pick him up, he looked up and saw us but continued to play. I've been a little nervous because he sometimes doesn't play very nicely. It seems that the first week was a success. Yay! I think both Lincoln and I came home happier today than we have in a few months!
Happy Mom and baby after church!

ReplyDeleteSo glad that he was happy to go in and you were able to enjoy church.
ReplyDeleteAwwww. It's so nice when they are so good in nursery. Just wait, he'll have his days when he will cry when you leave.
ReplyDeleteHe's getting all grown up! What a wonderful day... nursery! Yaya! Love that pic of you two together. And I love the new nursery manual. Its great to have for FHE too.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you've only been looking forward to nursery for four months! I still have four months to GO and I've been looking forward to it for four months ALREADY! I hope Sabrina does as well as Lincoln.
