frogs and snails and puppy dog tails...and monkey

I think in this poem, they forgot an important part of little boys, at least mine. There is some monkey in there, too. In the last month or so, he has become quite the little climber. This was the first instance...


My grandpa made this fun stepping stool for Lincoln. It's been at my grandma's house until recently when I decided to bring it home. It has just been sitting back in the corner with all Lincoln's toys, but he started to get back there and just sit on it. So, I brought it out into the room and let him play on it. How cute is he?



After he started standing on it, I decided it wasn't quite safe enough for him yet so I put it back in the corner. The next day, he was playing in the living room while I did the dishes. I turned around and this is what I saw:


I wasn't a fan of that situation, so I moved the stool out into the room and continued cleaning the kitchen. A few minutes later:




Needless to say, the stepping stool has been put away and will only be used under parental supervision!
