*I am(unofficially)done with my MT course. I completed my final yesterday! YAY! The last six weeks I have been working like crazy to get it completed. It was my own fault for procrastinating. I will get my scores back in two weeks and then, hopefully, I will be able to start looking for a job. If I don't pass, I still have two more chances to pass. But we are really hoping I pass the first time. I have to say thanks to my great family and friends for helping with Lincoln so that I could finish.
*Lincoln is officially a toddler! He took his first steps on May 4 and has just been getting better and better. It's just been in the last week or so that he has really been walking, though, more than crawling. It's so fun to watch him toddle around. I can't believe how big he is getting.
*Other Lincoln highlights include: a new word, water "wa-wa", loving going on bike rids with Dad (usually done while I was studying), and recognizing dogs and kind of barking at them as they pass.
*I decided this last week that I wanted to run a 5K this summer. This is a big deal because I have never, ever been a runner. But I want to start. My sister runs, though, so we started going this last week. It last two days before I was too sore to continue. I thought I was just stiff, but I've come to the conclusion that I have shin splints. Not sure what to do about it. But I'm going to keep reaching for that 5K in August.
*We are getting new neighbors. My sister and her family are moving in next door to us and I am so excited. She is only a couple blocks away right now, but next door will be even better.
Wow, I know that's kind of boring, but that's what we've been up to! I have lots of pictures to download to my computer and I'm sure as I do, I will remember stuff to blog about. Until then, here are a few pictures.
Hanging out at the airport waiting for Uncle Paul to come home from his mission to Japan.
Holding hands with cousin Jonas on the way home from Grandpa's Fathers & Sons outing.
Check out those pearly whites! Lincoln now his 9 teeth!
Lincoln loves his morning banana!

Oh my heck. Lincoln is so adorable!! I love the teeth cheesy smile picture. How fun. I can't wait to hear how you did on your test. Having your sister next door will be so fun I bet. Wow. Glad you are back!
ReplyDeleteOf course you passed. I can't believe they make you wait two weeks to find out. As if the computer couldn't give you an instant result.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about the shin splints. I got those when I did track (yeah) in junior high. They are yucky.
Yay, ashley is back to the blogging world. I've missed your posts and your cute pictures. Man, he is getting old. Don't you love it and miss it all at the same time. We need another play date. We can now that you've finished. Good Job Ash!
ReplyDeleteWhat an accomplishment Ash! You've been working so hard and we are proud of you!
