1 +3 = 4

Last week while my brother and sister-in-law were enjoying this:

we were at their house with these cute kids:

Taking care of 4 kids for 9 days is a lot of work! Dan and I both had to work while we were there, so we pretty much tag-teamed it a lot of the time. Daishan was super prepared and had all our meals planned and mostly prepared and lots of fun projects for the girls to do. We watched lots of movies and had some fun outings to see Reptile Man at the elementary school, story time at the library, donuts at the bakery, and playing at the park.

Lincoln got to eat his very first Fun Dip.

He thought the big bath tub was pretty fun, especially when Rian joined him.

It was even more fun when all 4 kids got to take a bath together. What a party!

These girls sure do love Uncle Dan!

Everyone enjoying some "Dora" (yes, Dora had to come with us!)

This is the view of Mt. Ranier driving from Aaron and Daishan's house into town. It's so pretty!

I think the kids had fun with us, but boy were they excited when Mom and Dad came home! We had fun, too, but it was nice to come home. Lincoln loved playing with his cousins, but has enjoyed having his own toys to play with again. Dorothy was right, "There's no place like home."

  1. That would be a lot of work, you are awesome to step in and help them out. I can't believe Aaron's kids are so big.

  2. I hear ya! We did the same thing for my sister and their 3 kids. I'm not sure I was necessarily the favorite aunt after that trip. I'm glad you survived!
