Since I kind of fell off the bandwagon of blogging the past few months, I can’t really play catch up without being totally overwhelmed. So enjoy the random thoughts that are floating around in my head and some cute recent pictures!
*I am so ready for spring. I’m tired of cold weather, snow, snotty noses, coughs, colds, jackets. I need some warmth and some sunshine!
*We are mostly unpacked and settled in our new place. I still haven’t hung up any decorations and have a pile of boxes sitting in my living room. I should probably take care of that.
*Lincoln turns 3 this weekend. Where did the last 3 years go? He seems so big to me as I watch him during the day and listen to the things that come out of his mouth. But when I tuck him in at night, he still seems so little and vulnerable. It makes me anxious to think of the kind of world this sweet little boy will grow up in.
*I love Netflix. I love being being able to watch a random show on my laptop while I lie in bed at night.
*I have so many books on my nightstand to read and I don’t really know where to start. Things from fiction to parenting to self-help to religious. Maybe I should put all but one of them away for now…but how to pick which one?
*Dan started a new job a couple weeks ago. He had been at his old job for almost 6 years so it’s been strange for him to be the new guy. But I think he likes the new job and I am excited for the opportunities it will bring our family.
*Our adoption profile has been republished and is online again! (See “Adoption Profile” link in my sidebar.) It had to be taken down when we moved so we could update some things. We are excited to go through the adoption process again. What a blessing it has been in our lives!
*I have a pretty good life. Although I struggle with things on a daily basis, I know that I have things pretty good. I’m grateful for my awesome husband and smart, funny child. I have an awesome family who loves and supports me.
That’s all. Here are a few pictures from the past few months.
First trip to the dentist. He did awesome!
We love Sonic Happy Hour at our house!
I know he looks scared in this picture, but he loved Pirate Island. He thought the pirates were great!
