sprinklers, 4th of july, and camping

Yes, I know I am behind in my blogging. I have an excuse, but not a very good one, so I will just keep it to myself! So here is a recap of what we have been up to.

Lincoln had his first experience running through the sprinklers. Boy, did he think it was fun! I didn't know what he would think of it, so I just stripped him down to a onesie and a regular diaper instead of putting him in his swimsuit. That's not a mistake I will make again! It was a hit!

We didn't do too much for the 4th of July. We went to the Spanish Fork reservoir during the day, but I didn't take my camera. That night we hung out with my family and had pie and ice cream and did a few fireworks. It was low-key, but we had a good time.

Lincoln fell in the bushes and decided it was a good place to play!

This last weekend we went up to some property that my parents have in Fairview. Dan grew up going there quite a bit so we was super excited to go. Camping is hard with a 1-year-old! I was a little stressed about keeping him safe, but he did really well. It was fun to get away and spend time outside. I was glad to come home, though.

  1. He is the cutest! Sounds like camping was fun. I'm jealous. I would love to go back up to Fairview lake. I miss it bad. I'm glad you had fun.
