To talk about my fabulous husband! So, here it goes.
What is his name? Daniel
How long have you been married? 5 years this March
How long did you date? Date? What’s that? Um, we didn’t really ever officially date. We went on dates in high school and kind of dated the summer after we graduated. We wrote while he was on his mission and we were engaged 8 days after he got home!
How old is he? 26
Who eats more? He does, unless it’s goodies. He doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth.
Who said I love you first? Daniel did—he said it first in a letter while on his mission, but also said it first face-to-face.
Who is smarter? I would have to say Daniel is, but it probably depends on the subject.
Whose temper is worse? I don’t think either one of us really has a temper, for which I’m grateful.
Who does the laundry? I do! Dan’s too paranoid to wash my clothes because I’m pretty specific on what does and does not go in the dryer.
Who does the dishes? Both of us, but me most of the time.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Facing the bed, I sleep on the right. That might change when the baby comes, though, so I don’t have to crawl over him to get up at night.
Who pays the bills? I do
Who cooks dinner? It’s a pretty fair trade off. I think he’s a better cook than me, though. He’s really good and throwing stuff together without a recipe. I, on the other hand, am a recipe Nazi.
Who drives when you are together? Him. He loves his car and so he doesn’t mind driving. Which is good, because than I can sleep!
Who is more stubborn? We can both be very stubborn. Depends on the situation.
Who proposed? Daniel did. Completely shocked me. We were just supposed to be discussing our relationship and little did I know, he already had a ring!
Who has more friends? Probably me, mostly because of all my roommates and friends from high school who I’ve stayed in touch with
Who has more siblings? It depends. Daniel’s the oldest of eight kids (so 7 siblings.) I have 3 siblings, but I also have 5 stepbrothers & sisters.
Who wears the pants in the family? We’re a pretty good team and I think we run the family/house equally.

I think Shell and I are the same way about cooking. I like to throw stuff together which turns out okay, and she always stick to the recipe
